The journey of Find A Way Ministries began long before our first worship service. While Pastor Greg was serving as a youth minister, God began placing a call on both his heart and Minister Linda's heart to start a ministry of their own. Although we felt His leading, we didn't want to move ahead simply because it was something we desired. We wanted to be absolutely certain we were hearing from God.
So we prayed. We sought His direction and waited on His timing. Instead of rushing ahead, we asked God to confirm His will. In His faithfulness, He began sending people we had never met to speak words that confirmed exactly what He had already placed in our hearts. Time after time, God reminded us of the calling He had given us.
As we continued to trust Him, God faithfully provided everything we needed to begin the ministry. He opened doors, supplied the resources, and made a way where we could not have made one ourselves. Through those confirmations, we knew this ministry was not our idea—it was God's. We didn't want to build a church simply because we could; we wanted to build only what God was calling us to build. With confidence, peace, and obedience, we answered His call.
Our church was originally established as The Harvest Is Ripe Christian Center, a ministry built on prayer, compassion, and a heart for reaching people with the Gospel. As God continued to lead us, He gave us a renewed vision and a new name—Find A Way Ministries—that better reflects the message He placed in our hearts.
The name Find A Way Ministries is a reminder to us that no matter what a person is facing, God is the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. That truth became the foundation of our ministry and continues to shape everything we do. It is our prayer that every person who walks through our doors will experience God's love, discover hope, grow in their faith, and leave knowing that, with God, there is always a way forward.
Today, Find A Way Ministries is a small but growing church family with a big heart for people. We currently gather at the Brooklyn Center Community Center in a simple meeting room with chairs, a projector, and a passion to worship God together. While our surroundings may be simple, our purpose is not. We believe it is God's presence—not the building—that makes a church.
Our desire has always been to create a place where people can come just as they are—without pressure, without judgment, and without feeling overlooked. We believe church should be a place where people can encounter the real God, experience His love and grace, and grow in their faith alongside others.
Because of that truth, we want every person who comes through our doors to know that no matter what they are facing, there is hope in Jesus Christ. Whether you're carrying burdens, searching for hope, rebuilding your life, or simply looking for a church family, we want you to know that through Jesus Christ there is hope, healing, restoration, and a new beginning.

We exist to help people grow in their relationship with God, discover their God-given purpose, and walk confidently in His plan for their lives.
